Dignitas was born when the world was young on the far shores of Durotan; Anetka and Hallan, a brave priestess and her loyal warrior companion, forged our early community by joining with Thraw, Gelato, Marzen and many other intrepid souls. Friends have lived and died, some lost to the mists of time. In a past age, the world was once sundered and the stalwart among Dignitas made their great pilgrimage to Arygos, a new world, a new home. This land of promise has not, however, known peace: a dark portal opened and terrible battles raged in the mad, twisted Outlands. And now, in this fourth winter of the guild, the scourge have invaded the North, fallen comrades and heroes have risen again to be known as Death Knights, and epic struggles rage now above the northern ice...
Welcome to Dignitas!
We're a casual, adult guild in World of Warcraft, with a healthy raid program, an active community, and lots of wonderful, friendly members. We believe that real life is important, more so even than Warcraft, and try to maintain some perspective as we visit, uninvited, Moroes' dinner party or hunt boar in Dun Morogh.
We're committed to lending each other a hand, to keeping the guild as free from conflict as we can, and to exploring all aspects of the game: questing, player-vs-player, raiding, crafting, and drinking far too much [Darkmoon Special Reserve].

Another guild first... we downed Freya tonight!  We one-shotted Thorim, and got Freya on... I think it was our third (correction!) second try. Then we went and visited Mimiron again. He's still disinclined to accept visitors, and much melting-of-faces ensued. We'll be back. For now, enjoy a look at his cool tram!

 We visited Obsidian Sanctum and left two drakes up... and after some tough healing from our healers, we got 'em down! Poor Dalaja went down *just* as we killed Sarth, but she also had the screenshot. GRATS DIGS! This was one of the hardest fights we've ever tackled.

The third night was the charm... just remember: it's not enough to *bring* frost gear... you have to remember to *put it on* as well.   Grats guys! That's nine bosses down in Ulduar! Freya's next. One more of Ulduar's bosses falls to Dignitas!  Our progress continues as we took on the gauntlet. We also managed to ride the tram and gave Mimiron a friendly hello. He wasn't inclined to entertain guests, however, so we thought it best to leave him be for now.

Two guild-firsts tonight... the Iron Council is no more, and we downed Auriaya in our first try! Dalaja did a great job leading the raid. We got Kologarn as well and got in to see Hodir... who turned out to be a bit of a challenge. So Digs' raiding is alive and well. We got a couple new folks into the raid this week, and the courtyard is starting to feel pretty comfortable for us. Ignis is going to be a challenge for awhile, but we're definitely getting better and better each week. If there's interest in a second Ulduar run, we'll do what we can to get 'em scheduled. Grats all!

Varik and Dalaja organized one of the best wow events in my memory -- we collected at Ratchet and followed our intrepid leaders to victory over ALL four horde bosses! We had a full raid of 40 and so smoothly dispatched all opposition that we had time to linger and wait for some lost comrades (*cough* Noc) in Silvermoon City.  It was a perfect event. Really fun, well coordinated, successful, and full of laughs. Best of all -- thanks for my black bear, guys!!

 We forged on ahead, outside the main courtyard, and tackled Kologarn! Took us a number of tries.. this fight will really tax our healers.. but we got him down! We're making good progress into Ulduar.

 We ventured into Ulduar and managed to take down the first boss tonight! The vehicle battle is surprisingly fun and involves a good bit of coordination among the team. And this is a milestone of sorts for Dignitas: we're exploring the end-game along with all the other raiders in the game. Never before has that been true.
